Why Nivasin exists
Rent dues went untracked. Tenant details lived in photocopies and phone contacts. Cash and UPI payments were written down later, or not at all, so the books rarely matched the bank by the time a resident moved out.
Nivasin brings that work into one place: properties, rooms and beds, tenants and leases, monthly invoices, payments and expenses, all on the same records.
How it's built
The parts you don't see are the parts we spent the most time on, because they're what make the numbers trustworthy:
- Every amount is stored as a whole number of paise. No rounding drift, ever.
- The ledger is append-only. Mistakes are reversed with a linked entry, never erased.
- Each owner's data is isolated at the database level, and personal details are encrypted.
- Nivasin records payments; it never handles your money.
